John,
We're all ears!
Your personal Ric instrument ownership stats are of course most welcome and invited!
-Any corporate statistics you care to share would be wonderful here.

Well, to be honest I don't really know how many guitars I have. It's over 200; that much I know. Then I have about 30 basses in addition to that.
My go to instruments- which are all basses these days- are an '86 Jetglo 4003 with black hardware and black binding, and a '86 Fireglo 4003 with humbucking pickups (the one Marty Willson-Piper's has had out on tour recently). Of course, my best buddy Smokie just got a new bass on Friday (pictured in the bass section fo this forum) and I'm hoping he can take his paws off of it long enough so I can see if I like it.

Smokey's very brief member profile. Now let's see. It lists: Occupation (or should I say "Rickenpation") = "Chief Mouser" ... hmmm ... Birthdate= 4/14/1950 (double hmmm) "take his paws off" = possible reference to the late/great feline Shadow andl/or current smoke colored tabby kitty-cater of the hallways? And the only cat avatar I've seen yet next a members name!

Wow, now that's what I call a "collection"! I'll be sure to bookmark this post so I can say,"see honey 12 is not so bad". So, Mr Hall, how many of the total are Rics? And just out of curiosity , if you don't mind sharing, you've given the go-to bass, which is the fav guitar when the spirit moves you? P.S I almost forgot, I have 3 Rics at the moment, 325C64, 360FG with toaster, and 370-12 FR with toasters. Love em all.

If Mr. Hall would consult his lawyers, etc, he might find that he owns many less than he had previously imagined. But certainly, he is not excluded from the thread, even if the moderator bounced him off.
I only own 3: a 330-FG 2005, a 650D 2005, and a 330 MG 1986. Sorry, the 4003 was sold.
But dealing with having a Ric is like owning a Ferrari. No corners cut there. NO secondary market for a Testarossa stamped Used.
This is probably the only place where you can actually talk to the CEO or other significant employees, because THIS is the product they care passionately about.
No distraction about Ric pedals, picks, other paraphernalia or possible acquisitions of other companies.
Im am sure that the Hall family receives many $$$$$$$ offers every year from Who-knows-what-corp.
God bless them for sticking to the last.
