Just one: 2012 Mapleglo 360 (Yeah, I just got it!) I briefly owned two, about six years ago, but had to sell them ![]() - 660/12 Montezuma Brown. Kicking myself still for letting it go. - 330/6 Mapleglo. I miss it, but the 360 is very similar, yet better. Adjustable pole pieces FTW. RASing for another 12-string and a bass. |

I own two: A 4001 burgundy, made in August 1980. Re fretted and the bridge has been replaced with a Badass. I acquired this bass in 1988 and it has been my go to instrument for over 20 years. It is such a pleasure to play this bass that I often spend several hours a day practicing. I joke to my friends and say that the Rickenbacker company made this bass just for me... They just didn't know it at the time. A 4004 Laredo in Maple glo. I have just recently acquired this bass and I have been playing it as much as I can to break it in. I bring it with me to work and practice with it (I work on a tug boat so I am away for weeks as a time). I love the way this bass sounds. The HB-1 pickups are so smooth and yet so powerful. The fretboard is very broad, wider than my Fender P-bass. I wonder if it was originally slated to be a 5-string? I have no complaints though as the wide neck prepares me for when I must play the upright. I consider myself fortunate to have these two fine instruments. I don't need another, yet if I did buy another bass, I would get a late model 4003. |
