If John would let us know what the capacitor is it would be an easy addition. Just a push/pull pot, capacitor, and a little soldering.

I think you can find that info at www.rickresource.com. I seem to remember some discussion of removing/adding the cap from/to the 4001/4003. It could be a simple as a toggle switch but wouldn't be as elegant as the new Ric solution.

Pay attention to C3. I wonder where R5 is (series to the mono output?) It is called out but not shown.

R5 appears to be at or near the "switch" portion of the mono jack. Perhaps it's to indicate resistance across that. I can't see anything in the related Electronics parts boutique pages.

I think it's an error because R5-500K stands as the mixer potentiometer in guitars with the fifth knob (also for the 4005 model). Just check the schematic-5 CTL-stereo.

Good point - the problem with changing one schematic for use as another to avoid redrawing... BTDT with similiar webpages....
