What are these 'case goodies' or 'case candy' people refer to when buying or selling Ric's?

"Case Candy" can include a RIC polish cloth, "Guitar and Bass Care & Maintenance Manual," allen wrench, RIC Catalog, and sometimes a portion of the Warranty Registration card. Many years ago, you also got a strap and a guitar cord!

wasn't there a time that you actually got the Rick-O-Sound box as well ., or was that always a separate purchase? I swear my friend said it came with his when he got it...

It's possible that some dealers included extra stuff as a form of promotion (kind of like the reverse of what Guitar Center ended up doing). I don't remember hearing that RIC ever actually included the ROS box with all their new instruments.

Never got my allen wrench, nor a case key for that matter. Gary at North Coast Music was supposed to look into it, but that was from January.
I wonder if John would let me "swap" a truss rod tool in exchange for the missing allen wrench and key?

A call or e-mail to customer service will square you away.
ROS Kits were never included with guitars, if only because most people a) don't need it and b) didn't have the requisite gear to use it anyway.
