Great playing, Mark! :)

I like your quote Nicktrousers '' Many people die with their music still in them"
- Oliver Wendell Holmes

I'm sure that is the unfortunate case in some circumstances, in a way if you die with your music still inside you, you have not really lived!

I truly believe most people don't get the chance to fully realise their own creativity , plus it's not easy to make a living as a musician, it has it's pot holes and it's turnstiles! I wish I had 2 lifetimes to play music but I should be blessed to have one.

Thanks jbudweiser. I agree with you 100%. I always loved that quote. It reminds me that a lot of people in society (Including myself) get so wrapped up with following the heard and listening to social conditioning, that they forget that they have dreams, so they never tap into their full potential. Science has already proven that genius is not fixed, and if we make enough connections and positive thought patterns in our brain, then we are tapping into a whole new world of possibilities. Of course, we have to be focused and hungry enough to accomplish the goals we set out for ourselves. We see great examples everyday of average ordinary people accomplishing extraordinary feats with just the power of focus alone. It's those kind of stories that keep me going everyday.

I may never be a famous or successful musician, but I'll jam on my Rickenbackers till the day I die!!!

Sure, I'll play.

Here's a live one - albeit a bit rough here and there - and the bassist is playing his Rick, too.
