Anothersixstringer, you always play well! Your king of the gypsy jazz/swing and you do play that style so well! Note the tone or voice of the Ric stays true all the way up and down the neck, perfect for jazz notation! You use a Ric for your own style of playing and it compliments it....Ric's are versatile instrument in the hands of a good musician Whoever said that a Ric was a one trick pony,,,,,,,they must have needed a few years of guitar lesson real bad!

Howdy,

How do you embed the video's to the forum like the ones just posted rather than just putting a link onto the page?

Steve

@jbudweiser : Thanks a lot for your kind words! Really keeps me going on, much much appreciated :)
@flyingeagle : the "secret" is to place the youtube video code between the brackets,
Like this place code here, looks like "HKWVG...."

In order to have it shown, i have added a space " " after each "youtube", just remove it and add your youtube code :)

Howdy,

Thank you!! I really appreciate it. I was able to copy the embedding code. I
think that I can fly on my own now. Thanks again. This is the great thing about this forum....we all help each other (not to mention that we all love our Rickenbackers!!)

Steve

I covered four of my favorite basslines by Chris Squire of Yes. Here are the first two:

'America'

'Heart Of The Sunrise'

I don't know if this qualifies, but here is a YouTube link of my son singing "That's Entertainment" from The Jam. He's not playing a Ric, but you can see our 3 Rics (360/330/4003 Bass Who we call The Triplets) in the background. All Fireglow. Right now it's the only video we have of them, but we're gonna try to find time to make vids with them in the future. We love and cherish our Rics!!!
