I hope I've posted this correctly....The Smiths live in 1986.........Marr isn't playing the Ric but Craig Gannon is!! even though its Marrs sound that strikes me...hope that's not cheating!......I don't know how he gets that thicker sound from about 1.45 on....(some compression...more chorus/flange, reverb?? This performance was recorded for the album Rank but this particular song was omitted which is really strange as its the best one they played that night imo.

Most likely no one out here will know them, but my old band....Volcano Suns...was an all Rick lineup...we were on homestead, SST, and last year Merge brought out the retro CDS...I played a 4005 and the guitar player used a 450 on both our first two records...after which I took off...again, no one will remember them, but to me those are my fave Rick performances...
