Everyone knows about les pauls and strats so I thought id come here to post a question. My wife has a 21 year old john lennon special, 325? in black, with the case and key, all the stuff that came with it, even the original carboard box it was shipped in. Actually its only been strummed a few times and still has the original strings on it.
Any idea what its worth?

What specific model 325 do you have? Is it a 325V63 or a 325JL? The 325JL comes with a certificate of authenticity (plus a special pickguard) and was a limited edition guitar.

turns out its a 355, and the cert is sealed in the envelope... the picked guard is "signed" its a 355 jl. man... just taking this thing outta the case and strumming a few out of tune chords on the rusted strings is an honor.

According to a Price Guide 2010 - Its worth between $2800 - $3200 which is also mirrored in £'s - having said that, if someone wants it bad enough then you may get more!
