After many weeks of checking the shipping section for the 660/6 guitar and seeing a blank space, a solitary Mapleglo 660 has shipped to Wildwood Guitars, so far this is the only entry on the shipping page.

Will there be more? Hopefully for sale as new stock, geez I hope so.

Cheers, Kez

I just checked it out, nice flame in the body and lots of grain and birdseyes on the neck/body piece.

It's for sale as well, not a pre order job. Here it is:

It's tempting, but I am keen on a Mid Blue specimen, still if there are no others, mmhhh...

Oh and they also have a very nice mapleglo 350V63.

Cheers, Kez

I wonder when it was ordered.

I've been checking that page a lot also, I have a Monty Brown 660/6 on order.

I was under the impression that particular models were made in runs, like 660's in whatever finish is ordered and then the next production run of another model.

I'm really itching to get my guitar, but I'm very patient as well.

I hope that 660/6 MG was ordered in Dec-04.
I ordered a 660/6 BBR in Jan-05, and I'm thinking it will not get made till summer 06. Oh well....

Hey bbobb24, when did you order your Monty Brown?

Hey Mark, I ordered my Monty Brown 660 in Feb 05, but the dealer I went through ordered it before RIC stopped taking MOnty Brown orders, which was probably a couple months before I reserved it.

It must be very frustrating to be waiting on 2004's color of the year now that we are in 2006, especially when it was ordered almost 2 years ago, and is basically a production model with a different paint job.
Heck, there are still Blue Boys coming out. I'm waiting on a 2005 COY and really starting to wonder if it is worth the wait, which seems like it could be until the end of this year????

I believe it'll be worth the wait, and the wait gave me plenty of time to pay it off, so my credit cards get a break. Look at it this way, I'm not waiting for an off the shelf, generic, run of the mill guitar.

Hmmm... i notice the made in America sticker is not straight, just like my 360 is quality control in the sticker department slipping?

Wasn't straight on my 660/12 either but in my mind if you're playing the guitar are you really planning to leave a sticker on the pickguard anyway?
