When did Rickenbacker change the gauges of their strings? I was about to order a few sets of strings from the Boutique here and noticed that Rickenbacker not only changed the packaging of the string sets (looks nice btw) but also increased the gauge of the low E and A strings to .046 and .036. I'm looking at sku's 95404 and 95403 specifically.
I've been using Rickenbacker strings exclusively for the past 15 years on my 360/12 with .042 and .034 for the low E and A. Has anyone that uses Rickenbacker strings experienced any E and A intonation problems or neck relief changes on the bass side with these new thicker gauge strings?
p.s. I haven't posted here in quite a while so I apologize if this question has already been asked. Nothing relating to my question came up in the searches I did.
