I would tune to standard. The EAD and G pairs are an octave apart on pretty much every 12 string I've ever played. The thicker strings are tuned as normal, and the thinner an octave above. The B and high E strings are to be tuned to the same pitch, the same pitch as you would use on a 6 string, but just with twice as many strings.

Potentially the octave tuning would be richer in harmonics...but may be more appropriate on an acoustic....

I just finished putting on four of the twelve strings on: Had the pleasure of putting the top/low E right through the skin on my thumb. I bled on the headstock... Peter Buck would be proud.

If I ever make enough bucks to travel to California on a regular basis, I'm getting Jingle_Jangle to help with this; this is murder on me.

By the way, and I apologize for the double post... I strung My 620/12 with the low strings: .046, .036, .026, .017, .013, and .10 (The difference is in the catalog the "compressed round wounds" are 42-34-26-20-13-10) and the harmony strings: 26-17-17-10-13-10 (Catalog suggests 26-20-13-10-13-10). I can't see or hear a reason for adjusting the intonation; it sounds fine up and down the neck: The gauges are just a little tougher.

I don't know if this is a bad thing, but I don't notice a difference.
