Something which I don't have for my 4001 is a proper Rickenbacker hardshell case. Do Rickenbacker sell these from their Boutique? I have not seen them. Or must I look elsewhere?

You'll find it the service tab in the us Retail price list
Or you can pick up one at sam Ash / Pick of the Ricks /Musicians Friend
Or any Shop that carrys Rickenbacker

It seems you can get a vintage '60s style case cheaper at MFI than you can get a standard RIC case at POTR...go figure.
