I just sent off payment yesterday for a new Ric 330/6 FG. Buying from Willcutt Guitars; they have a HUGE selection of Rickenbackers down there. Picked out a beautiful one with even a little bit of figure in the top. Now, as they say, the waiting is the hardest part! I have been without a Ric for a little while now, it will be nice to have one again. Love the 330, love the hollow body, the looks-nice that I could find some already out in the stores and not have to order one like someone may have to do with the more uncommon models.

Wait... You say they have Rics in the store, but you had to order one?

Probably a little confusing but the waiting I was talking about is the time it will take for them to get the payment and then the time it wil take for the guitar to ship to Des Moines; did not need to order because they have plenty of guitars in stock. It shouldn't be a terribly long wait, but a week can feel a lot longer when waiting for a new Ric to get here! Maybe I need to work on my patience!

When I got my 620/12 this year, the dealer (Unnamed for board rule purposes) kinda flubbed a bit on the shipping for me. I had to wait a bit longer than the week, but paid extra for overnight. I had to deal with dreams about the guitar, and kept waking up disappointed. Turns out the wait was worth it, though!

Yeah, That "final week" between placing your purchase with the dealer and waiting delivery to your front door is the most agonizing of one, to be sure.
By the way, I purchased my then brand new Ric 325C64 from Willcut Guitar in Kentucky in 2006 and I had an excellent buying experience with them. -Very professional and prompt, too.

My new 330 got here today, it is just perfect. Best looking 330 I have played. The wood has a nice grain to it with just a hint of figure to it. The wood also has a very nice color to it and the color of the Fireglo is exceptional. Played it a little at my lunch break and the sound is exactly what it should be. I do want to take a quick minute and say what a fantastic experience it was to work with Eric at Willcutt. They received the money on Tuesday and they shipped the guitar the same day. So thanks to them I got it earlier than expected. Also nice that they had so many to choose from. Even when I was not in the market to buy I loved looking at all of the Ric pictures on the web site. Very excited to have a Ric again. This is my third and I am certain this one is staying put.

How is the volume on the 330? A big problem for me with my 360 was volume.
