Yesterday my jetglo 4003 arrived.
Three years, nine months and 10 days after it was ordered; as a present for my 50th birthday. Well, I'm older now but a 4003 owner. :)

Worth waiting for!

He's overseas, it's possible his store took a long time getting to his order if there were people in front of him in line, especially for a specific finish. Who knows, he may have gotten it much cheaper than the going rate today.

Maybe it's a blessing because I think they're getting better every year! Happy (belated) birthday!

Well,
yes I'm overseas, in Sweden, but I don't think that the delivery time in this case was exceptional in any way. The thing is that everyone (in the world basically) who ordered a 4003 (jetglo) before I did, must have had theirs delivered before I could get mine. That's the only fair principle at work here.

Living in Sweden is neither here nor there regarding shipments. We live in 2012......not 1912.
Waiting nearly 4 years is far too long.Did you get any updates on the guitar during this peroid?

I'm in the US, and waited 2 yrs and 2 months for my Cheyenne. Wait times are what they are, but like the op, I was thrilled to death to finally meet my new baby, and the wait was well worth it.

22 nail-biting months here in Western Canada. Worth every minute though, once it was finally in my hands...
