First time I've seen one publicly for sale! Wee bit out of my price range.

I stumbled across that one yesterday, and I stumbled away after reading the ticket price!
Still a beautiful guitar.

According to the other forum, it was refinished as recently as the mid-'90s! ¿Por qué?!!!

I haven't seen a lot of these, but it looks to me like the upper horn has been repaired at one point? There seems to be a seam and a bit of a color change there. I always thought that the the bodies were one piece?

I wouldn't let that upper horn seam bother you. There's seams all over that guitar. LOL

I would totally paint it black and put a Bigsby on it. Hahaha! Just kidding.

...and I would totally play that guitar until my hands fell off.

No - that's stock. A lot of the early prototypes had this feature.

It would appear from that horn that the "long body" was a little bit longer than the standard body blank of the time!
