so far, I've only tried the ROS (with a self made Y cable)...splitting a mono signal would make it possible to use my stompboxes (in which there's a nova delay), so I wouldn't have timing difference between the two but I guess it would be sweet as well! ;)

the next step would be to use two different signal chains with two pedalboards but that would be a far, far, far too much expensive alternative.

btw I didn't use anything to eliminate the loop hum but it was only noticeable at a very low volume so it was not an issue. ;)

yep, I've put the amps close for the picture, otherwise there's always more distance between them! ;)

The other thing is if you use two amps you don't need many effects, the effect used carefully are complimented by the fact it running in stereo or out two amps!

absolutely! the only thing I regret in fact is that you can't make a rendition of it with a recording, the only way to know what ROS really is, is to try it out at your home!

At present when not using the ROS to run with the 2 amps, I use my Boss tuner ( T2) it has two outs, so from there I just spit the signal. The first run has only a delay and then straight to amp 1. the 2nd run has compressor. delay to P-split then straight to amp 2 ( Note I'm only using the P-split for loop hum elimination, I'm not actually using it to Split the signal)

To make it easy to use the ROS I run a single long 15ft quality stereo cable to a ( stereo splitter box) The input is stereo the two output are mono, from here I run the two lines to the amp with the same pedals to each amp as do in the first set up. The only difference is I don't use the tuner to split when using the ROS.

You should think about the Loop hum eliminator, and two delays!!!
A silent stereo rig in Golden! nothing but the notes your playing should be heard
even when your playing on your own and even a low volumes.

Static, is not my type of music! It is the noise of the universe expanding!

that would be the definitive ideal rig, if it wasn't so damn heavy! ;)
