Looking at the pictures on Facebook of these F-hole models there are a lot more than 10 in that pile. Also, the neck/pick-up routing looks like standard 24 fret, not 21 fret? Anyone have any news on these? Are there 10 specials for the UK and the other F-holes for the USA market?

I am one of the lucky owners of these 10 pearl whites. I have read some whinging stories from others about them on other sites. I just wanted to let John and Ben know that you've done a wonderful job with mine. It will stay original and sounds beautiful! Don't lose faith in those who care about what you do with "specials".

your´re right 45 r.p.m! i remember everybody shouting at RIC: do something new/old; please bring something special etc. Suddenly somethings like this happens, then some naggers arent pleased beacause of unsubstancial issues... I´m was also an impatient nerd who always wanted a new COY, new model and so on when I joined in here in `05. But hey... at the end its just guitars. But some made at the highest industrial standarts worldwide. Respect to RIC for doing so! And the pwc´s were realy outstanding!

Now it looks like it was used as a lamp post and doggies were doing their business on it.

Modern whites yellow very little, if at all. As said, some people prefer that vintage look, so these days you have to add amber or yellow to get the white to look old.
