You do realize that this is about six inches long? I don't think anyone's going to mistake it for a real Rickenbacker and plug it in to a Vox.
However, John Hall hasn't weighed in on this. We don't know if Rickenbacker approved this or not. I'm thinking that if Hobby Lobby took the time to get some of the finer details of the 325, which isn't as easy to copy as a Strat or LP, the person who came up with the concept of the miniature guitar was familiar with the brand, and therefore familiar with some of Ric's policies. It's possible that they contacted Ric beforehand. I'm not defending them if they copied it from a Google image or did not seek permission, but I'm pointing out that Mr. Hall has remained silent on this matter, and some of us could take a chill pill. I promise there aren't any bad side-effects.
