I saw the Ruby 4004 at RIC a few weeks ago. I thought it looked nicer than the old Ruby which was also very pretty.
I'll be taking more pics of these at the NAMM show later today.

I'm guessing that unlike the original ruby which was a candy shot over a silver base coat, that this is a single stage paint like MID with metalic in the paint. I love it by the way :)

Given Dane's comment I am curious too, as the old Rubys (Rubies?) I have seen in person look amazing and I hope this looks just as nice or, given modern technology, even nicer. 8-)
