I found this model on the shipping page. It shipped to Japan. What does the korea mean?

I am just guessing as I live in this part of the world, but there is a specific RIC distributor over here. It's main office is based in Japan, I believe. This is probably a guitar going through that Asian distributor and destined for sale in Korea. They are very strict about honoring new sales over here and would only sell US Made genuine Rics. Very honorable.
I can say with certainty it has nothing to do with any RIC being made in Asia, just sold, my guess through the Rickenbacker Asia Netwrok.

thanks guys for the info. thats what i was thinking but wasnt sure. I glad RIC is still a usa made guitar. only one of a very few.
