Just signed up on the forum and thought I should say "howdy y'all" and present my RIC credentials.
Back in 1987 I bought a 330/6 in MapleGlow with all black hardware and scratchplate. I this loved dearly but it had to go when I changed bands and found that the Ricky sound didn't fit in with what I was then playing. Fast forward to now and I'm in a country-rock / Americana band and we do some Byrds and Tom Petty songs. So on the grounds that it would be rude not to, I've just treated myself to a 660/12 also in MapleGlow. I fitted some compressed wound strings and took it to rehearsal for the first time last week and WOW, what a sound! :D

Welcome. Great to know you have been re-acquainted with Rickenbacker. Ever thought about a 6 string Rickenbacker. Good to know your guitar went well in the band.
