Hi all!
I just popped in to say hi and to say how overjoyed I am at finally owning a Rickenbacker guitar. For around 30 years I have wanted a Fireglow 330 but it was always out of reach ....until now!
I am now the very proud owner of serial number 11 12364.
Overjoyed with it...it chimes and rings just like it should!

Welcome to the forum, peterjung!
And, congratulations on your Fireglo 330! (I waited for quite some time for mine, as well. Like you, it's been well worth it.)
This is a great forum for enthusiasts, with many helpful people on board.

I too, am a relatively new owner(360), so I absolutely get the thrill of opening your guitar case and seeing a musical icon staring back at you. What made you choose?

I was lucky to get a lefty Mapleglo 330 back on December 2012. No wait, it was in stock. Actually, several were. Not now though.

Yes great score after a long wait, so big congrat's on that.
Tedduddy, that was lucky fast grab for you getting that lefty, they have a different production schedule than the right handed guitars. With the left hand models a certain amount of orders need to be placed prior to production beginning. It's good to have fast reflexes if you play guitar. Now you're not waiting on that order list to be filled.

Yes but being "Children of a lesser God", that is being left handed and feeling "left out", I feel a 360 is a long way off.
