How would these differ in sound compared to the standard 330?

The fingerboards will make it sound a bit more syrupy as in Maple.......... :mrgreen:

My two 380s seem to have more sustain. That could also be a plus with the maple neck/walnut body.

Very nice guitar! Love the grain of the wood!

At first I wasn't sure about the new W series, but it's beginning to grow on me. I'm glad they left the pickguards. My beef with the 380 series is that the lack of a pickguard looked bland IMO.

Having seen one up close and personal, I must say that Ric is very creative and innovative. It is an impressive guitar and will be my next purchase. After all Only Ric can make a Ric!
