Hi everyone. Im new here, thanks for having me. I have played Rickenbackers since the 80's with my first 60's 325. I have recently purchased a May 64' 1998 and I hope to learn more about my guitar by the many members of the forum.
Looks a cool place!
Thanks everyone!

Hi Johnny, nice to see your playing a Ric now the Pistols have finished.
Just joking with you.
Welcome to the forum, there are plenty of knowledgeable people on here and all friendly. Any questions just ask away. Even John Hall,Rickenbacker CEO posts here sometimes!! There aren't many companies where The Boss takes an active role on the forums. :D

Thanks for the welcome fellas. Regarding the Ric 1998, does anyone know what sort of numbers were shipped to the UK during the 60's, particularly 1964?

Hi, I'm new here too. I'm from Oxfordshire, England and have this week (having spent almost my whole life wanting a Rick) just bought my first one, a 360-6 in Fireglo. I'm utterly smitten.

Congratulations for the 1998 ! A May 64 means an actual survivor of the Pete Townsend era. Not sure how many are still in good shape out there, but I assume they are easier to find in the UK.
