Can't wait! Big Lennon and Beatles fan.
It should be here by 3/15/16.
Should I put flat wounds on it?
What gauge strings work best?
Any issues I should be aware of?
Thanks for the info guys!

Len

Congratulations Len.
No issues to be aware of. I use the Thomastic-Infeld Jazz Swing .013's. They are a bit pricey but well worth it. These flatwound strings are lower in tension and have the Rickenbacker sound. You can also use D'addario Chrome's, but I would use .012's if using the Chromes. Most of all, enjoy!!!

Thank you Steve!
Can't wait to get it. I already have both of those sets you mentioned ready and waiting :).
It's a beautiful guitar, been on my bucket list for awhile. Right after the trip to Liverpool which I took last year :) Had a great time!
I'll post back when it arrives.

Thanks again!
Len

Congratulations. Rickenbackers will always be the coolest guitars and are almost as cool as the people who build them.
