I've gone on about this for a while now but still had no reply. I want to order a left hand 620/12 in midnight blue but I don't know the exact waiting time for it over here and if I stumble accross another one, can I take myself off the waiting list?

Delivery for any lefty is about 2 years currently. As far as how your ordered is handled or canceled, that's entirely between you and the dealership.

Me too--a year in this April. The best thing to do is pick one up in the meantime if you can get it, but don't cancel the order--if a year from now it comes in, you can turn around and sell it then, likely for what you paid for it.

Don't lose faith Mr. Squirtboater. Last November I ordered a 620/6 LH JG and started the long wait. Just over a week ago I checked the recently shipped section and saw that the exact same model had been shipped to the dealer I had ordered mine from. So I called and was told it had been ordered 19 months earlier and was someone else's. So I said thanks and hung up. Five minutes later they called back and said the guy who had ordered it had cancelled the order because it had taken so long and now it was mine. It arrives tomorrow. Thanks to the Rickenbacker company for having this great resource for customers. So keep checking and remember: miracles CAN happen!

Why two years?

Are there that many leftys in the queue or do you wait for enough lefty orders?

There really is no waiting list, as we do not deal directly with the public on instrument sales. You just need to place an order from a dealer, who may or may not require a deposit from you (totally up to them). As John has stated, the wait from that point would be about two years.
