I've been playing your guitars for about 30 years now. I own 5 right now -- a total of 8 over the years. My first was a 360-12 back in 1986. I toured with it; and though I loved the tone, my large hands meant it was a struggle. I sold it after about a year. Still longing for that tone I bought one just like it again it 2005. Great guitar -- but again, I was always wishing for more space. Begrudgingly, I sold that one recently.
So I've owned a 1993Plus for about a week now. It's everything I wish that first one was that I bought at 17 with summer job money. It's the Rick 12 I always wished you'd make.
I can't put it down. It's pulling melodies out of me in a way I haven't experienced in years. I haven't been this excited about an instrument in decades.
Thanks, man.

You can also thank Pete Townshend for his specifications.

My brother also bought a 1993Plus and feels the same way you do. After years of buying Ric 12's and then eventually selling them because of the tight fingerboard, he finally got one that is comfortable to play without making compromises. Rickenbacker would do itself a huge marketing favor by making the wider neck available on ALL of their 12 string models
