the guy is talented, but me no like either ...portrait should have been likeness from early Beatles IMHO
...at least i'm glad he didn't do this to a 325 :P

With absolutely no offense or slight intended to one of favorite groups, Redbone (of the 1970's era) rendering kinda looks he could be related to Pat Vegas!

Yeah, it's done pretty well. But, it really doesn't really look much like Lennon at all.

A masterfully crafted piece of work. The artist captured Lennon's swollen right eye with a certain panache rarely seen in modern interpretive art.

P.S. I had a different four letter word in mind, but I thought the word "work" would be more in keeping with the decorum of this website.

Wouldn't he have to have permission to use the cartoon and signature?
The carving is quite unappealing,IMO.
