Combo650?

Isn't that hot pink thing a Combo 600?

Not only the single switch... but look at the upper bouts. It doesn't have that "extreme cutaway" that the 1957 catalog attributes to the Combo 650.

When can we expect to see some Combo 800's on Ebay?

Combo 800s on eBay? Not very often, that's for sure.

That guitar must be pretty hard to define... it's called a 650 in the gallery & it's called a 400 in the Smith book. ...but alas, it's a Combo 600.

There are a few mistakes in there that I assume will be smoothed out over time... like the "325 in natural with deluxe features", which is really a 375 (oddly it has the correct model number when it's shown in another photo).

Well, it's still a Combo 650... and that other guitar is still a Tuxexo. :-/

No it isn't.

And I think this page clears up any confusion:

Methinks you misunderstood me... or I wasn't clear. Perhaps I should have written: "Well, it's still BEING LISTED AS a Combo 650..." My attempt at a "sarcastic/disappointed" emoticon at the end didn't work very well either, I guess.

My last post notwithstanding, I was the one clammering about this mislabled guitar A MONTH AGO, when I started this thread and attempted to point out the typo/mistake.

I KNOW it's a Combo 600!
