Mr. Hall I was just told the factory has stopped taking orders until it is caught up all backorders. Is this true and what if we have an order outstanding with a dealer and it has been payed for up front? The dealer has a conformation # from the factory and it was ordered in may. The dealer would not order my bass unless it was payed for up front. (special order)thanks mitchell moore

This is a true statement if you're speaking about acoustic guitars. In the case of electrics, we're limiting the amount of orders a dealer can place based upon their credit limit- essentially it's just an incentive to keep the account paid up and not order beyond their means.

As far as an order placed in May is concerned, that would be prior to the policy change and assuming the dealer placed the order in a timely fashion, there should be no problem.
