I haven't been here in a few years. But I just wanted to say I still have my Ric 330, and use it regularly. Today, I used it for instrumental stuff on my regular Monday "gig" in the main lobby of a local hospital. My 330 has had the Ric humbuckers for a few years, but I'm planning to go back to the toasters it came with. Anyway, just wanted to say Hi, and I'm glad that the forum is still going strong.

Did you make any changes to the pots, replacing them with ones with increased value, when you switched out the pickups?

It has been so long ago, I don't remember all the details, but, yes, the current set up has 500's. I find that this makes chime a bit difficult to reach, but I don't "chime" that often. For me, the interesting thing is that my 330 has a fuller, mellower sound (at least to me) than with the toasters, but no question, it still sounds like a Ric. (~: I think that anyone who knows guitars would recognize that.
