What price can you put on a vintage Rickenbacker guitar that's been in the family for 50 years? With this offering, we're about to find out.

Welcome to the forum, imrowley. I see it's your 1958 Rick for sale. Looks as fresh as a daisy. Can you give us a bit of the story behind it, who in your family first got it, etc.?

Good luck with the auction.

Let's keep that Rick in Ohio!

That is one pretty RIC. It reflects the far out thinking
as far as style go's from that period of time. I'm suprised John Hall is not bidding on this one.

There has been quite a bit of interest over on the RRF about this beautiful late 50's 360 Capri. Very Rare and super nice. You will not find a cleaner original vintage guitar. The under the bed closet classic for sure.

Glad everyone is interested. My father received this guitar as a birthday present in juinor high (approx 1960). He played it in High School and put it away for the last 47 years. My parents have had it under the bed all this time. It looks like it is brand new. As a kid my father told me he played in a band with Kenny Price for a short time. My father was a big story teller so I am not sure how accurate that part of it is.

I have posted some more pictures on ebay if you want to take a look.
