THANK YOU ALL FOR RESPONDING SO QUICKLY.ALL OF YOUR IMPUT WAS VERY USEFUL.ITS GREAT TO HAVE PEOPLE LIKE YOU ALL OUT THERE THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.I BOUGHT THE 4001,THANKS TO ALL YOUR HELP......I'll call it a 771/2....LOL |

congrats on the new/old bass I just love those Fireglows after they have had a chance to age and warm up. ....if you find but a fraction of the joy mine has brought me it will be a fine investment. Check the trussrods. There are some that have issues because they were not properly adjusted. You might also see if the.0047 cap has been removed or bypassed. I did the bypass mod to mine and was very pleased with the difference. I also put on a set of TI flats. They are a nice low tension flatwound. |
