Since this is the corporate site, I was hoping Mr. Hall could weigh in on how quality control at Rickenbacker operates.

Is there one person who inspects? Or is it one person at the end of each step?

I think Ric makes fantastic guitars, but I sometimes picture Mr. Hall having to strum or plunk each one on its way out.

Just jealous ;)

No, that's Kenny's job.

I've been there a few times over the last few years and seen it in action. Everyone at the end of the line contributes at a certain level from set-up into the packing area. They actually pick through all of the plated parts and make sure all of the plating matches from pick-to pick-up, etc. It's crazy when you look at all of the little things they do like that.

I was up in JH's office once and their set-up guy came up with a with a few 325C58s that he was having some problems with, in the end, JH said, "Cut them up." Which was followed by a shrilling scream from me,

"Nooooooooo..........blahhhhhhhhhh!".

After they medicated me, I was fine.

Thanks, Nick. Every Ric I have ever picked up is just startlingly beautiful, including my own.

I wish I could do anything anywhere as well as the way Rick Intl. does. (Except cutting them up, jeesh!)

To Mr. Hall and all the craftsmen, keep it up for another 75 years.
