Last year I had to sell my Rick 350V63 since I lost my job, along with two other guitars. Happy to say I got a new job a few months later and today I went to Fedex and picked up a 2011 Rick 325C64 model purchased on Ebay from a gentlemen in NYC. It is basically unused and in mint condition. Of course I could hardly wait to plug it in to my Vox AC-15 and play it. I had heard that the short scale was harder to play but I have small hands so I think it will work out.
Good to be back in the forum after being away for a while!

Glad to hear your back up on your guitar legs and you have a great guitar.
Still feel sorry for you over the ones you had to let go but glad to hear your back on the payroll.

Congrats on the new 325. I too sold my Rickenbacker ('81 360 Burgundy) a couple years ago to put my daughter through a great summer camp and it was worth it. Incidentally the buyer now has it up for sale - he's going too hard on the asking price imo but ahwell - so I was able to capture some photos of my old guitar. I plan to buy a new 360 FG and an AC15 sometime. My new local 10 minutes away Guitar Center got some Ricks in which is awesome because I used to have to travel way out of state just to see one in person.
Congrats again on the Rick. I've never tried a 325 before but that doesn't stop me from wanting one!

I'm in the same boat as you. 10 years ago I sold my lefty 330/12 WB to put towards an engagement ring. Then three years ago I sold my lefty 330/6 to buy a Hofner bass. Now I just ordered a lefty 330/6 from MF and I should be getting it pretty soon:) This one I'm not going to part with!

I also am not going to part with my 325 , I need to have at least one Rickenbacker guitar! How do you like the Hoffner bass? They are cool looking guitars if you ask me

The Hofner is quite fantastic. There's a certain bass sound that I've always chased and the Hofner was the end of the search. I've always preferred warm and woody over piano-like and snappy. The humbuckers are very powerful. I omly play on the neck pickup.

Congrats on the Ric Reacquisition. Great that your back with a Ric Axe. I just replaced a 2012 4003 Mapleglo that I had to sell, with a 2013 4003 Ruby. It's nice to be back with a 4003. Hang on to your 325C64.
