The only dream I could have regarding Rickenbacker is for them to somehow replicate that Crushed Pearl Inlay they had from 1965 to about 1971...
That's a dream of mine as well.

They can put a man on the moon but....

I would definately find a way to purchase a mid-blue 350 with a bigsby and a humbucker in the bridge position, with trianglar inlays and a gold pickguard and a gold name plate.

620 and 620/12s as Vintage Series models.

330 Body, sculpted a little at the top edge of the back to make it more comfortable for the way I play; 360-style bound neck with triangular inlays but with wider (600 series?) string spacing for my sausage fingers; ROS; slightly less noisy pickups that lose none of that distinctive Ric tone; some seriously figured maple, under an aged FG (AFG, perhaps?) finish. Keep the R tailpiece too; it is without doubt THE coolest to be seen on ANY guitar EVER.

Oh, and no lacquer on the fretboard. Will I get lynched for saying that?

My dream Ric is my on-order-for-a-year 360/12C63. *sigh*

I expect the tree is almost ready for harvesting....

I just thought of something.

Now, I don't play guitar, but if I did, I think this would be cool:

A solid body 350 with the bridge and pickups from the 650C. Maybe with a black pickguard and nameplate as well.

1996 reissue....or is it a 325? One of 'em, anyway.

Model 350 with 21 frets (like the 350v63 - not 24 like the 80's 350); schaller tuners (not the vintage); binding (like the S Hoffs model); triangular fret markers like on a 360; "R" tailpiece (instead of the trapeze); taller frets; no laquer on the fingerboard; toasters (not hi-gains).

That would be my dream ricky.

Mine would be fairly simple, at least to my mind, a 360 with the neck of a 660 finished in Mapleglo with black trim, pickguards, tuners and bridge.
