Got an 85 360/12WB that Im redoing. Want to switch out the gotho tuners to the klusons. Do I need the long or short shafts?

Are the Gotoh's Kluson copies? If so, they are actually superior in stability to the old Klusons, and the various new tuners that advertise themselves as successors to Klusons, although fantastic tuners, like the TonePros version, won't retrofit because the shaft and bushings are different.

No they are the regular gothos the round body ones. They really suck at staying intune

Do they have press-in bushings, or bushings that screw down into the body of the tuner?

The regular string ones are screw in. It looks like the sympathitic srtings have no bushings. Maybe thats the problem its the sympathetic strings that keep going out of tune. Help Mr Hall I waited four 40 years to get this guitar I want to get it right
