So, I bought a standard replacement nut, part #03325, and it's about 1/8th of an inch short in height for my 1981 360... some of the slots are flush with the fretboard. I called customer service and was told that these modern-sized nuts are the only ones they sell, and suggested I check to see if Stew-Mac or AllParts has what I need. (They don't.)

Does anyone know of a source to find the nut I need, or do I just have to have a luthier custom-make one?

Thanks in advance,
Jonathan

Could you maybe shim up the nut to get the height where you need it?

I know that seems simple enough, but I honestly don't want to mess with that myself. I guess I'll have to ask about my options when I bring it in for repair.

Honestly, it's surprising to me that there doesn't seem to be a part available from somewhere. It's not exactly a rare guitar.
