Clint, I think that you have the right idea. I only worry about this condition getting worse with the years and the guitar acquiring the 'bridge on face with nowhere to go' syndrom.

Pardon me, but we haven't made these since, what, 1999 or 2000?

I would go with the advice that's been offered- if it is playable, leave it well alone.

Records show that the last 360/12V64 was shipped in June of 2001. From the photos provided, this guitar looks like it was strung up with heavier gauge strings at some point in its existence. Given the apparent lack of a gap between the back of the heel and the binding where it meets the body, I have no reason to believe that this neck was improperly set in production.
