I have a 2009 330-6.
I'm wondering can I and would be be beneficial to replace the pickups with toasters? Also, how much are they if purchased through Rickenbacher?

They're available in the boutique section on here, above, for $150 each. Hi-gains vs. toasters is an on-going debate, and one discussed here many times (search for this, and you'll come up with tons of discussions), but it's a matter of personal preference, somewhat depending on the type of music you play, and in what size venues you perform it.

I love high gains. If it were an option I could afford, I'd have them put in some of my other guitars. The cleans are the classic Ric sound, but they sound so good with distortion.

Wholeheartedly agree with AGNP on this one. I'm glad all the Rick toaster music is out there already, but I wouldn't personally put them in my 360 as I love the Hi-Gains (although sometimes I do contemplate trying out the HB-1s).

I put the vintage toaster pickups in my 360 and it was the best thing I ever did...

You'll have to wait until after New Year's for any boutique items.Personally I'd leave on the hi-gains,with a 12-string I might consider toasters.

My favorite RIC is my 360/6 JG with a Toaster in the neck position and a High-Gain at the bridge, best of both worlds!

Right, the usual mod is to put the Toaster at the bridge to capture all those jangly highs like the old school RICs. But I like the more balanced volume of having the High Gain (higher impedance) pickup at the bridge for grittier lead work, and the Toaster for rhythm and clean picking at the neck position. To tell you the truth, most of the time I have both pups “on” and I vary the blend to get the sound I want. But when I want to cut thru the mix with a lead part I go for the bridge High Gain alone. I have a RIC 360/6 FG with two toasters, and I have owned a 360/6 with two High Gains in the past. But my RIC 360/6 JG with both in the aforementioned configuration is my favorite. I get a lot of compliments about the looks of my FG, but then I get a lot of compliments about the SOUND of my JG.
