Hey Gang,
New to the forum, but have loved ricks for years.
I purchased some toaster pickups to get a more jangly tone for my 330 6-string. I was wondering if the foam would reduce the jangle. The high output PUs were just not my style. I like the way the foam looks, but I won't use it if it is going to cut down on the ring.
All feedback is welcome.
George

Hmmm... I have heard that grommets provide extra jangle, but I think you'll find foam to be adequate for your needs. It sounds like a Rickenbacker if it's a Rickenbacker.

If you want the absolute vintage look, grommets. If you want a tad more feedback suppression, foam ring.
