Hi everyone,
I am new to the site but I wondered if anyone on here could give me some advice.?
I have a 2010 Rickenbacker 360/12 in Fire Glo and the problem that I have is that the top coat of the finish when caught in the right lighting is showing horizontal cracking lines in the finish. The guitar has always been kept on a place that has other guitars and there is no effect on any of my other 8 guitars just the Rickenbacker, I know that the guitar is getting on in years being 6 years old now but there is now way when some one pays so much for a guitar to find that in 6 years this is going to happen to the instrument.
I have also got a 1980 320 in Jet Glo and that is a s good as the day it was made, no cracking at all and this is kept in the same place as the 6 year old 320, so if anyone could give me advice on this I would be very grateful.
Many thanks
floyddave
