Are the 95511 string sets for bass about the same overall tension as the previous 95510 sets?

All of my basses are old enough that they came with the older 40-95 set. I really prefer the sound of the factory strings and would replace them with the newer 40-105 sets, but am a bit concerned about overall tension and the prospect of filing the nut.

I am not familiar with the older set, but I can tell you from my experience that if the other strings in the new set are of a similar gauge, to core-wrap ratio and construction to the old set, and only the E string is the real difference, then the difference between a typical 95 round and a 105 round of similar construction is only about five or six pounds of tension difference, which is probably compensated by a 1/4 clockwise turn of the E side truss rod, if it needs anything at all.
