Greetings,

I know this post has been touched on in the past, but I wonder if anyone ever successfully retrieved a schematic for a 2nd generation Light Show?

We are VERY close to completing restoration on a super-cool burgandy-glo model and have one headache that we can not seem to remedy: whenever the green light circuit glows, a terrible BUZZ runs out the guitar output. We know the transformer is working fine, it seems to be a component somewhere within the circuitry of the guitar itself.

Any help would be appreciated!

Having worked on one of these recently, I would also love to have a schematic; unfortunately, I haven't been able to find one.

In this case, however, I would look to the coupling capacitor between the audio input and the light circuit, as that's the only connection between the lights and audio. However, without a guitar open in front of me, I can't point you to the right one, but it'll be the first three caps (one for each channel) after the audio input.
