 Post subject: 620 nut question

On my 620 the nut contour angles down towards the high E string. The nut on my 330 was straight so I was wondering if this is normal on the 620.

My Gibson SG has a nut like that, It's to make sure you can get event actin accross the board I think. your low E vibrates more wildly, because it's bigger, so ti has to be higher to avoid Buzz, vice versa for the low E. so slanting the nut kinda evens things up.

On my 650S, the nut goes straight across, so the angled nut is not common to the series.

i have an all origional 610 (1992) and the nut angles down towards the high E string.
