I've had no problems with the rm@mcguinn.com address as shown on his website.

Not trying to be mean but you ARE John Hall of Rickenbacker.:) I'm sure that carries a little more weight than my email. LOL

Cole...I am not John Hall of Rickenbacker and Roger McGuinn continues to correspond by e-mail with me. Of course, Roger is aware that I did what I could to help his career along in the 60's by purchasing albums and singles released by the Byrds on the Columbia label. He's a good man.

So, tell him you're Pat Robertson or something!

In reality, I think it has more to do with what the message might be or the way it's delivered

Yeah, but LoveRickBass was saying he was getting an auto-reply. Don't know what's in the message or the "way it's delivered" that would casue that.

Hhhmmm. Maybe McGuinn's mail server was just having a bad day. LRB, why don't you try again.

As I've mentioned, Roger and Camilla have always answered my e-mails and I'm NOBODY. But again, I also make sure not to abuse the privilege.

And I was extremely lucky and grateful to obtain the following:

Now we're having fun...
I suggest you tell him you're Old John Robertson.

For modern Santana tones on a POD 2.0, try the California Crunch #2 (Mesa Boogie) & crank the drive a lil bit. Neck HB & you are there!

I'll try again. Maybe his spam filter is kicking out my mail.

Btw, how's this sound; "Hello Roger, this is brother Pat calling."

Everyone gets the autoreply but then I presume he decides who he's going to answer personally depending on the message and most likely, his available time.
