I can't give you the setings (I don't have them) but if you go to the Line 6 web site, there is a POD page with tons of user guitar sounds, searchable by name. You can download any of them via USB to your POD.
I couldn't find a McGuinn sound there, does anyone have POD settings for the Byrds jangle?

For McGuinn, I use Brit Blues with 100% compression. I also use a little delay too. I put drive on about 2.

I just e-mailed Roger and this was his answer:
"I did use a POD for a while but was having problems with it losing its settings between sound check and the concert. It's a bit tricky to get the "Byrds Sound" with it but here's what I set it for:
Brit Blues, Delay/Compression, 2X12 speakers, Output level: 5, Drive: 0, Bass: 8, Middle: 3, Treble: 5, Chan Vol: 10, Reverb: 2.5, Effect Tweak: 6.25.
Just mess around with it close to those settings and see if you can get it sounding they way you like."

I like the POD for home use, with my headphones. The Rock Band Weezer did their entire tour using just PODS direct to the PA.

Best musicial gear since Rickenbacker! I wish they could make the package more retro looking though. More like the Vox version.

Good luck with emailing him. I've never had any luck in contacting him. Now he has some automated email reply whenever you send mail to him. :(

Quote: "I did use a POD for a while but was having problems with it losing its settings between sound check and the concert. Of course, that begs the question - what is he using instead? . . . the black and yellow boxed JB? As far as Roger's e-mail address, he does have another personal address (at least one other I suppose) other than the one listed on that web site. I, certainly, would not send it out without his permission. He and Camilla have been very gracious to me and I try to never abuse the 'artist e-mail privilege.' Then again, having just said that, it's possible the address I have will bounce back too now. Regards, - Mark
