Well,I have to say how surprised I am that my 360-12's playability has improved so much with a new Ric nut and going back to Ric strings rather than the Pyr flats. The spacing is better just slightly, but makes a big difference. And the compressed strings make the guitar seem easier to play---now I feel like playing EVERYTHING on the 12 now.First fret bar chords are easy and ring properly. Now if I can just get my sound closer to MWP......!

Welcome to the forum, Allmodcons. I believe the RIC strings are a lower tension string than the Tetrahedrons, which is why you find them easier to play. I've heard so much praise about the new RIC nut, that I'm really looking forward to getting my 360/12C63. I'm hoping it comes with the new style nut.

The two jacks in the parallel mono configuration are just wired the same way (in parallel).

Now will the nut currently offered in the boutique differ in spacing from what I have on my '94 360/12WB? Any info would be appreciated.

Yes, the nut being offered by RIC now has redesigned wider spacing. It's not a lot wider, but everyone I've heard from says it makes a substantial difference (for the better) in playability.
