I don't mean to complain, but I must. I don't mean to offend, but it probably will, in spite of the fact I've ordered a lot of parts and supplies from them, all to perfect descriptions and customer service and suitability for the project at hand. But I must on this one:

I was surfing their catalog and they list their spools of #43 wire, among other things, as suitable for Rick pickup rewinding. I emailed them and said Rick only uses and only really ever has used #44, and they emailed back, basically doublespeak.

Would someone with more authority than my puny little voice please set them straight, or at least have them discontinue advertising #43 wire as Rick rewind wire? Tele neck and Texas Special pickups, OK, but not Ricks!

Interesting point. I'm about to send a pickup to Lindy Fralin for rewinding, and didn't know about this. I'll have to contact him to see what he uses. Anyone here know?

John Hall has posted somewhere here that RIC has always and only bought #44 wire. A search would turn up his post.

Yes, John has stated this on more than one occasion. #44 is the only wire RIC has ever used.
