I bought my 330 last week (love it!) and it still has the stock strings on it. Would it be safe to re-string my guitar with a set of 11's? Would the larger gage strings fit okay in the nut slots or would a tech have to widen them to accomidate the larger gages? Truss rod adjustment? Any setup tips would be most helpful. Thanks.

The guitar can handle 11's just fine. I suspect most of the strings would be fine at the nut but you might encounter one or two that need encouragment. The truss rod might need a bit of a touchup but likely very little- refer to the manual under the service tabe above for detailed adjustment instructions.

Thank you, Mr. Hall for taking the time to answer my question. I have to tell you that everybody who's seen and played my 330 has been totally knocked out by the quality of this guitar. The workmanship and care that went into this instrument is truly top notch, and I'm proud to own this guitar.

My guitar player uses .008's as the first three strings on his 3/4 lennon ric. I cant play it, but there is no buzzing. A tribute to the perfectly straight neck.
